Tool data stays on your device
All tools on UtilityBase run client-side in your browser. Text you paste, images you upload, numbers you enter, and audio or video streams from your microphone and camera are processed locally and are never transmitted to or stored on our servers. When you close the tab, that data is gone unless you chose to download a result.
Local storage
To make the site more useful, we store a few things in your browser's localStorage: your favorited tools, recently used tools, recent searches, and whether you've given feedback on a tool. This data never leaves your browser and you can clear it at any time through your browser settings.
Analytics
We may use privacy-focused analytics to understand which tools are used and how often, in aggregate. This includes events like page views, tool usage, and search queries. We do not build individual profiles and we do not sell data.
Advertising
The site may display advertising to keep the tools free. Ad networks may use cookies or similar technologies subject to their own privacy policies. Sponsored listings are always labeled as such.
Feedback you submit
If you use the feedback buttons, suggest a tool, or report an issue, the text you submit (and your email, if you choose to include it) is stored so we can act on it. Don't include sensitive personal information in these forms.
