No. The tests render your audio level and video preview locally in the browser. Nothing is transmitted, recorded, or stored on any server.
Why does my browser ask for permission?
Browsers require explicit permission before any page can access a microphone or camera. The permission applies only to this site and can be revoked at any time from your browser settings.
A test says my device isn't detected. What should I check?
Make sure the device is plugged in and selected as the default in your operating system, that no other app is holding exclusive access, and that you granted the browser permission. Reloading the page after fixing these usually resolves it.
