For the traditional experience, columns also matter for pattern games: four corners, letter X, and blackout all play normally.

Enter at least 24 terms (more is better — with exactly 24, every card holds every word and only the arrangement differs; with 35–40, cards genuinely vary in content), generate the PDF, and keep one master list for calling. The one facilitation rule that saves word bingo: mark each term as you call it, because unlike numbered balls, words have no cage preventing repeats. For classroom use, calling definitions while cards show vocabulary words turns it into an honest review activity.

Each card is generated independently with cryptographic shuffling, so duplicates are possible in principle but astronomically unlikely: classic cards have on the order of 10^26 arrangements, so a 30-card party has effectively zero collision chance. What can happen with small custom lists: two cards containing the same 24 words in different positions (guaranteed if you provide exactly 24). That's still fair play — bingo is won by positions, not vocabulary — but a longer word list makes cards feel more distinct.

The standard progression for a party: play a straight line (any row, column, or diagonal — the free center helps four lines), then four corners, then letter patterns (X, T, L), and finish with blackout/coverall, which takes long enough to feel climactic. Odds intuition for hosts: with 30 cards in play on straight-line bingo, expect a winner within roughly 15–20 called numbers, so stock more small prizes than you think. And the caller repeating each call twice isn't tradition for nothing — it's the whole game's error correction.
