Frequently asked questions

How much does Depop take?

US Depop sellers pay no selling fee — only the Depop Payments processing fee of 3.3% plus $0.45 per transaction, charged on the item price plus buyer-paid shipping. On a $50 sale that's about $2.10 in total fees.

Didn't Depop charge a 10% fee?

It did until 2023, when the 10% selling fee was removed for US and UK sellers. A 10% selling fee still applies for sellers in some other countries, which you can add by adjusting the rates.

Is shipping included in the fee?

Yes. The 3.3% processing fee is charged on the total transaction, which includes the shipping the buyer pays, because the payment processor charges Depop on the full amount.
