What is ETS?
ETS stands for Expiration of Term of Service — the date your current enlistment contract ends. Related dates work the same way: EAOS in the Navy, separation date, retirement date, or DEROS (the date you rotate from an overseas assignment). Enter whichever applies.
Does terminal leave change my real last day?
Often, yes. If you take terminal (accrued) leave at the end of service, your last working day can be well before your ETS. Estimate your leave balance and subtract those days from the countdown to gauge your actual final day in uniform.
